Our Work

Since our establishment in 2006, we have proudly held consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council, empowering us to actively engage with UN permanent missions, advising and contributing to the negotiation process. At our core, we strive to bridge the gap between decision-makers and the youth demographic, ensuring that policies reflect the diverse perspectives and specific concerns of young individuals globally. Our mandate revolves around enhancing youth representation in policymaking by administering community consultations, collaborating closely with youth-focused NGOs, and creating platforms for young individuals to articulate their viewpoints and concerns. Through these efforts, we aim to guarantee that the invaluable input of young people is acknowledged and integrated into international discussions and policies.

Community Consultations

We are dedicated to fostering inclusive and informed policymaking processes by hosting community consultation events in the Montreal area. These events serve as crucial platforms for engaging with local youth and community members, allowing them to voice their perspectives, concerns, and aspirations. Through these consultations, we gather valuable insights and ideas that help inform policy priorities, ensuring that the needs and desires of our community are accurately represented in decision-making processes.

Community Collaborating with NGOs and UN Permanent Missions

Our commitment to facilitating meaningful change extends to our regular engagements with UN Permanent Missions and NGOs, where we collaborate in preparation for policy negotiations at UN Commissions. These meetings are pivotal in our efforts to ensure that the perspectives, insights, and concerns of young people are thoroughly considered in the negotiation processes. By fostering ongoing dialogues and partnerships with key stakeholders, we actively contribute to shaping policies that reflect the diverse needs and aspirations of youth worldwide.
